Happy Halloween! We’re thrilled that the crisp fall air has arrived, and the kids are wearing some incredible costumes this year.
To kick off this month’s newsletter, the Board of Directors extends heartfelt gratitude to all the members who attended our MVTA Annual Membership Meeting. Your support and membership mean the world to us, and we’re eager to share valuable vendor resources with you in our upcoming membership Q&A meetings. Stay tuned for the 2024 schedule to be shared by email and posted.

Our annual meeting this year was packed with exciting content, including special business announcements, informative breakout sessions, an expanded lineup of vendor resources, and, most importantly, expert speakers sharing their insights to assist our members in their daily business operations. We were honored to have Maryland Comptroller Brooke E. Lierman and MDOT MVA Administrator Chrissy Nizer provide updates directly to our membership. It was an opportunity for us to both listen and make our presence felt.

MVA’s Last Fraud Training for 2023:
Make sure to participate in the in-person Fraud Training at the MVA Headquarters in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Please note that the class schedule in the bulletins has been revised. The last session for 2023 is scheduled for November 16, 2023, at 9 am and will be conducted by the MVA Investigations Team. VEIP Flag Extensions and Removal Requests:
We’re currently assisting the Vehicle Emissions Unit in processing requests from our members due to limited online access to MVA products. The MVTA is collaborating with the MVA to develop a more efficient method for processing flag releases without delay. Please continue sending your requests to: beth@mvta.org.
